Branding and Communication -Final Collection line up - Week 9

My final capsule collection for Balenciaga illustrates my desire of exploring shape  and to challenge aestethics . Voluminous shapes and creative use of fabric is written in the brand's DNA. The theme chosen for this collection works with the new aesthetics Demna Gvasalia is bringing to Balenciaga. Demna Gvasalia 's work is the definintion of the Soviet aesthetics in the 21st century .

Final outfit with Technical Flats 

The making of the coat: 
The making of the coat went smooth , the patter pieces were very hard to assemble due to the massive weight difference of the fabrics and because the chosen fabrics are both synthetic they slip when touching each other.
Also it was very hard to trap the tulle in . The manufcturing of the coat took 5 days, but i am very happy with the final outcome

Branding and Communication-Final Coat and Jumpsuit Toiles-Week 8

  This week I have finalised my final coat toile and the final jumpsuit toile. Both toiles for both garments are fully lined.
Also I have found fastening methods for both garments.The coat is going to be fastend by using loops and buttons and the jumpsuit is going to have an invisible zip.


Final Lectra Modaris Simulation of the Jumpsuit . While simulating this jumpsuit i have learned how to add elastic and gathers in Modaris.
