Adobe Photoshop

Using collages previously created during our workshops I have put together a couple Photoshop works. Digital Collage is particularly useful because it enables you to come to interesting outcomes faster than the traditional collage would .Also it provides you more tools and effects so the final outcome can be more interesting and complex.

InDesign / publication design-Final version

After more than a couple trials and numerous test prints , I have finally came to the final outcome of my publication/magazine. I have succeed to give my magazine ,,HI-Tech"the desired look.

Below is the final version of the magazine, before being printed on photographic gloss paper and stapled.

   

Fashion templates

During our Fashion templates and concept workshop  we focused on introducing character to our fashion templates. I have created fashion templates with an element of collage, choosing from various contemporary template examples, tracing over, collaging and developing variations.

 

InDesign / publication design.

I have aimed to create an A4 magazine . Firstly i thought about my article and the theme that I have approached : Wearable Technology and I have started to picture the kind of magazine i would like to see it in  .a I wanted the magazine to be a combination of art,design ,fashion and technology , therefore the name HI-TECH  .Below are a few versions of the magazine and the way it changed trough the Development process.The magazine started as an 8 page spread :Cover , Table of Contents , Double spread with the article .It later transformed into a 12 page publication.

I have used more software than InDesign . I have also used Photoshop and Illustrator in order to give the magazine the desired look.

InDesign / publication design

Continuously working on my publication/magazine , I am starting to see a final to it .I have played around a lot with opacity and page positioning  .I am trying to avoid giving the publication a crowded look , and i want the color pallet to be minimalist . I aim to create a page layout that would make the text easy to read , also I want to keep key features trough the publication's pages so it has the same "atmosphere " from the beginning.
